Punctuation, is? fun!

Some of my favourite things of the week

Coloring books for adults. I only got these books today but I've been already coloring for hours. It's really relaxing and fun.

iZombie. I discovered this show a couple of weeks ago and it is plain awesome. I've never been a fan of zombies., I don't read or watch shows/movies about them, but I got hooked instantly.

After being turned into a zombie, Liv Moore finds a job in a morgue, since it is possibly the easiest way to find brains to eat. Every time Liv eats someone's brains, she gets the victim's memories and habits. She also gets flashbacks and this way she helps the police to solve their murders.

I don't want to reveal too much, but you should definitely check it out.

Flowers for Algernon. This became one of my favourite books almost instantly. I bought this book randomly when I needed a book to read at a bus. I remembered that I heard the name somewhere but I didn't know anything else about it.

The book tells a story of Charlie Gordon, a man who has an IQ of 68. Charlie gets the change to have his intelligence increase by a surgery. He's the very first human to undergo the procedure, they did the same surgery to a mouse named Algernon and the surgery was successful. I don't want to ruin the book for you, so if you're interested, don't read anything about it and just read the book. It's very heartbreaking, sweet and sad story, I loved everything about it.

You've learned a new rule and it's simple: Don't put yourself in situations you'd like to run away from

I got sick when I was still in Berlin and I've been sick since. I didn't leave the house for about a week but I'm getting better now. So that's the reason why I didn't post anything, I tried to do some book reviews and such but my brain wasn't working at all.

I'm not usually into anything super 80's and 90's, so I'm not sure what happened to me when I bought these dresses. I wore floral kimono and polka dot dress today and I felt really colourful and everything today, I even caught myself looking at everything really bright and crazy coloured at the stores. These were 8€ each and they are really comfy on.

I bought bunch of cheap books, because why not.

I bought Lena Dunham's Not That Kind of Girl while I was in Berlin, cause I wanted to have a book that reminded me of where I've been.
I've read and heard a lot of controversy about this book and especially some parts of it, but I'm not going to get into that.

''If I can take what I've learned and make one menial job easier for you, or prevent you from having the kind of sex where you feel you must keep your sneakers on in case you want to run away during the act, then every misstep of mine will have been worthwhile''

The books contains little pieces of Lena's mind, her childhood, finding true love. The book gave me a lot of comfort, since I felt that I've been dealing with a lot of these same feelings and things as she has. That I'm not that alone dealing with compulsive thinking, and how it's okay to eat that fucking cake if you feel like it. You're worth just as much as everyone else is.

It's pretty hard to review someone's memoir, cause you just can't say how the plot and surroundings were boring or something like that. This book is as it is, cause it's part of her life.
I enjoyed the book, but I wished that it would've been about her current life more, and not so much about the past. But you know, memoirs are usually like that. Maybe I'm just curious.

Every one of a hundred thousand cities around the world had its own special sunset and it was worth going there, just once, if only to see the sun go down

I am Rosa-Fiona, born in 6.4.1993, living in Helsinki, Finland.
I like cats in every shape and size, Twin Peaks, flea markets and buying things I don't need.
My blog is going to be about anything that makes me happy at the moment. There's probably not going to be many outfit photos or fashion related things, but more about books, movies, flea market finds, recipes, DIY stuff and just photos of everything I feel like capturing.

I don't want to feel like I'm only doing this because I have to, and posting things I think people might enjoy more. I'm doing this because I like this and I'm going to post about things that make me feel happy.

My English and writing skills in general are a bit rusty, but I'll get the hang of it.

I already have photos to post, so I'm not going to talk about myself any longer. If you have anything to say or ask, please do so!

I just came back from Berlin and I didn't even remember how beautiful the city is. We only stayed for 3 days and the time flew too fast. Originally we were going to be staying in some basic hotel but we randomly came across with this place called Smartloft - Apartments & Art. It was fairly cheap, so we just booked the place. And it was amazing! The place is very roomy and big and there is amazing pieces of art everywhere. I'm never ever going to stay in some tiny hotel room.

The only complain about the place is tidiness. The bathroom floor was a bit nasty (I used sandals while showering) and some of the cups and cutlery were dirty (we bought some disposable cups and such.)

We visited Sachsenhausen shortly, cause I got really sick during our trip. The place was very heartbreaking.

I'm sad that I didn't take that many photos, cause Berlin is so beautiful. It's very unique, there's so many cool cafes, restaurants and hangout places.
